A sabotaged Moonstone ceremony strips Elara Thorne of her wolf identity, installing a rival heir and triggering a chain of betrayal and silence.
Episode 1–8English
During the Crescent Hollow Pack's certification rite, thirteen-year-old Elara Thorne bled on the Moonstone Altar and the stone stayed dark because pack healer Sable Vance had coated it with wolfsbane. Alpha Alaric immediately declared his illegitimate daughter Sera the true Luna heir, and that night Elara's mother Selene discovered the residue before falling to her death from North Cliff.
Six months later, eleven-year-old Sera set fire to the granary, destroying Elara's throat and robbing her of the howl that marks wolf identity and transformation. Meanwhile Alaric has administered Selene's North Ridge estate for twelve years, funneling proceeds into Sable's accounts, while a neighboring Alpha seeks Selene's daughter and a guard named Kade Ashford carries a moonstone pendant Elara gave away as a child.
Key points
- Wolfsbane on the altar suppressed Elara's bloodline response
- Sera burned the granary to silence Elara's inherited melody
