Mia abandons a childhood sweetheart whose loyalty score collapses and turns to a quiet peer whose number has held at one hundred for years.
Episode 1–5English
Mia navigates daily life with a literal heads-up display that quantifies every person's devotion as a floating number. For six years her childhood sweetheart Jack sat at a flawless hundred, but his fixation on a girl he nicknames sunshine triggers a steady erosion of that score.
Rather than plead for a dwindling figure, Mia walks away and channels energy into running, a pursuit that pulls her toward Ethan, a reserved classmate whose meter has remained locked at one hundred since she once drafted him into a P.E. group. Jack now begs, shadows her steps, and schemes to reclaim her, yet Mia refuses to chase a value that keeps dropping.
