Kressa drinks Lethe laced with Styx water after Zale gives their only Golden Apple to Melora for a minor burn.
Episode 1–5English
Mortal priestess Kressa carries a Tartarus death curse that can only be lifted by a centennial Golden Apple from Olympus. Her soulmate Zale, son of Poseidon, steals that single fruit and feeds it to her sister Melora merely to heal a trivial magical burn, leaving Kressa without a cure.
Kressa abandons treatment at Apollo's Temple and drinks Lethe poison mixed with Styx water, silencing her pain but condemning her soul to turn to ash in three days. She surrenders her Healing Temple to Melora, hands her son Philon over to her sister, and offers her heart's blood when Zale draws the Blade of Olympus to sever their bond, while her parents praise her apparent submission.
